OF THE ALLIANCE FOR THE FUTURE OF TRANSPORT
“MOBILITY PACKAGE – SOCIAL PARTNERS’ PERSPECTIVE”
BRUSSELS, 30 JUNE 2017
The Union of International Hauliers (Bulgaria), Transport and Logistics Poland (TLP), the Lithuanian
National Road Carriers’ Association Linava, Romanian Association for International Road Transport ARTRI,
Association of Croatian Road Carriers and the Macedonian Association Makam-Trans – members of the
Alliance for the future of transport, established in Warsaw on 28 April 2017 – are pleased to invite you to join
the debate of the social partners on the Mobility Package.
The Mobility Package “Europe on the move” released by the European Commission on 31 May 2017 is the
beginning of the most important, but also politically-affected discussion on the future of transport. Posting of
workers in the transport sector, minimum wages, new rules of working and rest time, as well as a new
cabotage regime are the core elements of the Package.
As companies and organisations from the international transport sector, we cannot remain out of the main
scope of the discussion, and we cannot allow the situation where decisions at a legal and political level will be
taken without in-depth discussion on the impact of the proposed changes in the Package on the proper
functioning of the transport companies and Internal Market. Let our voice be properly heard.
The conference will take place in Brussels on 30 June 2017 at 9.00-13.00.
